Written by Ian Gilchrist

SATURDAY 10 MAY 2008

YNYSANGHARAD PARK, PONTYPRIDD

YNYSDDU WELFARE CRUSADERS AFC V ABER VALLEY YMCA

KICK-OFF 14:30

So, 'Ponty Park' is the venue for the Final again this year, as the 'Welfare' seek to beat the current cup holders, and win the trophy for the very first time, in this, their sixtieth consecutive season in the South Wales Amateur Football League.

A large crowd is expected, with good support for each club, in this clash of Division One near-neighbours.

Admission to the ground is by Programme only - cost £2. It is hoped that the club will have these available for sale before matchday, or that supporters travelling on the club coaches will be able to purchase en route.

Please also note that ALCOHOL IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in the ground before and during the match, and specatators with cans, bottles etc will be refused entry.

Within 100 metres of the main park gates in Pontypridd, there are a couple of pubs (Llanover Arms & The Malsters), together with a number of cafes, takeaways and a restaurant. With this in mind, and many club members wishing to 'make a day of it', the following Supporters Coach(es) details are as follows:

Depart CWMFELINFACH 11:30, Black Prince YNYSDDU 11:40 and Crown PONTLLANFRAITH 11:45.

Return from PONTYPRIDD at 18:00.

COST £5. - payment on the bus.

Those wishing to travel, MUST contact IAN GILCHRIST to reserve a seat(s), otherwise there is no guarantee as to availability.

Let's hope that the boys receive the same support that was witnessed at the Semi Final, as with the full backing of the rest of the club membership and the local communities,  a big day out could turn into a historic day out.

 C'MON the CRUS!!!
